When orienting the SMART Board, slide the marker to the X. The orientation is determined by where you lift off the pen, not where you tap it.
Hide the Floating Tools when you are using Notebook since there are duplicate functions.
You can save the properties of your favorite fonts, pen styles and line styles.
You can create "virtual white-out" by saving the properties of a pen (such as the purple-dashed one) to have Line style of white, thick pen, solid line with no point or arrow. You can lock your text box and then "white-out" your answer. Your students can use the eraser to "reveal" the answer.
All locked and infinitely cloned objects will remain on the page if you "clear" it.
